New Anglia LEP drives growth and enterprise across Norfolk and Suffolk. Our ambition is to transform the local economy into a global centre for talent and innovation. A key part of that is funding and supporting businesses that want to invest and grow from SMEs to start-ups. We also help fund major infrastructure projects across the two counties.

Enterprise Zones offer benefits to business including; discounts on business rates, simplified planning and superfast broadband.
Growing Places Fund
The fund helps to kick-start and support major infrastructure projects such as the Barton Mills development on the A11, the Haverhill Research Park and the Digital Incubation Centre at Norwich University of the Arts. New Anglia is looking for applicants who have projects that could benefit from future funding.
New Anglia Capital
A new co-investment fund where businesses and entrepreneurs can pitch to angel investors for 50% of the risk capital to kick-start new products and launch innovative ideas.
New Anglia LEP is responding to the current downturn in oil and gas prices though the introduction of two schemes to support the sector. The long term objective is to restore participating companies to a position of stability/sustainability, and ideally to set a growth trajectory. The key aim is to help each participating company to survive the current downturn. Participating companies that meet the eligibility criteria will be able to access grant aid, so they can bring in specialist support to help their company.
Funding programmes delivered by partners
The Agri-tech Growth Initiative helps local businesses within the sector to invest in new markets, improve productivity and the progression of research and development. The programme is available across the Eastern area and is managed by Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough Local Enterprise Partnership.
