Leading the way with Successful Partnerships
New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership works with a wide range of partners; from businesses organisations to county councils, local authorities to private sector consultancies. These organisations give their time and expertise free of charge to help deliver a range of activities which all contribute to the economic success of our region. Please see below contact details for some of our partners.
We value the work that these organisations do to promote economic prosperity and growth in Suffolk and Norfolk and are always looking for ways to further cement our links. We believe that it’s only by sharing experience, contacts, skills and expertise – and focusing on shared goals – that the wider business community of New Anglia will really come together to claim its rightful place as a leader on a national, and international, scale.
For example, New Anglia is working with the Norfolk and Suffolk Chambers of Commerce on important road infrastructure campaigns. This includes the successful lobbying of Government which has secured the dualling of the A11. When completed, it will have a major, positive impact on businesses regionally. In addition lobbying which has prevented a proposed ‘toll tax’ on vehicles travelling on the A14, which would have had a detrimental impact on businesses in the region.
To help entrepreneurs and small businesses access all the help and information they need to ensure success, New Anglia LEP has launched its Business Information Portal. This innovative website brings together information from a wide variety of national and local sources; making searches for practical advice, guidance and support tailored to what local businesses need.
To help, advise and direct the development of the Business Information Portal an advisory group has been created which meets every two months. It includes enterprise agency leaders, a business consultancy, a social enterprise specialist, a small business organisation, Suffolk Chamber of Commerce, Norfolk County Council and Forest Heath District Council. The advisory group provides focus, feedback, ideas, guidance and direction to ensure the Business Information Portal effectively delivers what businesses need.
